ASD CLUB is a non-profit that focuses on educating school teachers, staff and parents about how to help children with Autism Spectrum Disorder in the school system. Creating a community between teachers, parents and paraprofessionals to help bridge the gap in communication. Donations are greatly needed to help fund free education for the community as well as provide teachers, staff and IEP paraprofessionals with needed tools for children with ASD in the school system. For example: Headphones in the classroom to reduce noise, sensory objects, sensory safe uniforms/clothing, sensory safe cafeteria food options, quiet learning rooms with educational tablets, chairs that rock back and forth at desks for quiet stimming in classrooms, small garbage cans for desks with extra paper specifically for ripping which in turn reduces the amount of destructive behavior as well as helps fulfill the child's frustration in a healthier way that does not disrupt or destroy the classroom, supplemental income for paraprofessionals, after school activities like sports and clubs for children with ASD to improve fine motor skills and social interaction, etc. There are many ways we can improve understanding and acceptance in the school system for children with ASD. Any DONATION amount is Welcome and sorely Needed!
